Hi, I’m Eleanor

I started Eleanor Grace Dance in 2024 to build the school I wished I had trained in: rigorous, warm and open to everyone. We now teach across three studios in Bramhall, Altrincham and Northwich.

My own training took me from The Northern Ballet School to the Dance World Cup finals with Team England, and on to work with Birmingham Royal Ballet, Zoo Nation and Beyoncé’s dance group in Washington DC. What I care about most now is what happens in the studio on a wet Tuesday: a child who could not do a cartwheel in September landing one in March.

Principal

Miss Eleanor

Founder and principal. A Dance World Cup finalist for Team England, Eleanor trained at The Northern Ballet School and has worked with Birmingham Royal Ballet, Zoo Nation and Company Chameleon. She has performed on the BBC with Janette Manrara, joined the Syncopated Ladies for a project in Washington DC, and danced in music videos for artists including Bars & Melody. Thirteen years teaching in dance schools and colleges.

Qualified in ISTD, IDTA, Acrobatic Arts, Alixa Flexibility, PBT, Zumba, Yoga, Barre Concept and Aerial Arts.

Miss Ebony

I have been dancing since the age of six and went on to train in Dance and Musical Theatre at Bird College. I have since performed professionally in Spain and have experience teaching both Dance and Musical Theatre.

Miss Louisa

I started dancing as a child and went on to study full time at Dancepoint, Glasgow, and Italia Conti, London. I professionally trained in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, commercial and musical jazz, as well as acro.

After working as a dancer I took time out to raise a family, then returned to my creative side, choreographing for shows in London and locally.

Throughout my training, I attended a wide range of contemporary and commercial workshops and competitions across Manchester and Leeds. I am passionate about using dance as a way to tell stories and encourage self-expression, helping children to grow in confidence.

Alongside teaching at Eleanor Grace Dance, I am also studying qualifications in Pilates. From September 2027, I hope to begin studying Physiotherapy at the University of Liverpool.

Miss Lucy

I graduated from The Hammond with a degree in Musical Theatre and Performance. Since graduating, I have continued to work within the industry, dancing in music videos, a Channel 4 documentary and a CBBC children’s show. I am continuing to explore the industry whilst sharing my experience and love of dance through teaching.

Miss Maz

I have been dancing since I was 3 and took all my exams, including Advanced 2 in Ballet, Tap and Modern. I competed all over the UK for many years, including placing at the AED finals, then gained a Diploma in Musical Theatre.

I have been teaching for 18 years. I choreograph full musicals for local groups, for which I have won awards, and I teach a Down’s syndrome group called Team Swag, which I absolutely love. My specialities are Tap, Modern and Musical Theatre.

I’ve always loved performing and started dancing at school from a young age. Since then, I’ve performed in productions including Annie, The Rocky Horror Show, dance shows and various variety shows.

After graduating with a degree in Musical Theatre, I gained my teaching qualification and have now been teaching for two years. I love inspiring students and building their confidence.

I earned a BA (Hons) Musical Theatre degree from Performers College, where I trained extensively in dance, singing and acting. With over 10 years of dance training, I have experience in jazz, ballet, tap, contemporary, lyrical, commercial, hip hop, Acrobatic Arts and Aerial Arts.

I believe dance is a space where creativity and confidence grow hand in hand, and I love creating fun, engaging and welcoming classes.

Accreditation

Recognised training

Our syllabus work and examinations run through IDTA, ISTD, Acrobatic Arts and LAMDA, so progress is measured against national standards rather than our own opinion.

Uniform

Kitted out and ready

Every EGD dancer has their own uniform: leotards, skirts, shorts, tops, shoes and kit bags, all in our colours. Ordered online from All Boogie and delivered to you.

New starters can wait until after the trial. Anything comfortable to move in is fine to begin with.
